Turnkey Heating, Hot Water & Water Treatment Installation

DCR was appointed to deliver a complete heating, hot water and water treatment upgrade at a prestigious residential property in Belgravia, London. Working from our London office, our team completed the project within a six-week programme, providing a fully managed turnkey solution including design, installation, project management, commissioning and aftercare.

The works included a new three-boiler cascade, hot water system, water filtration and treatment, plant room controls, electrical systems, flue and associated mechanical works.

The Client Challenge

The client wanted a single specialist contractor capable of managing the entire project, providing one point of contact and clear accountability for the design, installation and ongoing performance of the systems.

The existing heating and hot water plant required upgrading, while the property's water conditioning system was not providing the required treatment for bathing and drinking water.

The project also had a strict completion deadline and required careful coordination with the property's management team.

Our Solution

DCR's in-house design team developed a bespoke solution tailored specifically to the property.

We replaced the existing heating boilers with a three-boiler Viessmann Vitodens 200-W cascade system, providing a combined output of 297kW and allowing the system to respond efficiently to changing heating demand across the property.

The existing direct-fired hot water boilers were replaced with two bespoke 6-bar unvented commercial hot water calorifiers, designed to provide reliable hot water at the required pressure.

A new Aquaphor water filtration system was installed to address water hardness, chlorine, iron and heavy metals, alongside system treatment and filtration to protect the new heating and hot water equipment.

The existing BMS was also replaced with new zoned controls, allowing individual heating zones to be managed from the plant room and remotely via app-based controls.

Technical Specification

The project specified Viessmann commercial heating technology, supported by Aquaphor water treatment equipment and DAB pump sets.

DCR's in-house mechanical designers, engineers, electricians and project management team worked together to deliver the complete installation. The project also incorporated in-house building and joinery works where required, ensuring the installation could be completed under one contractor.

The Result

Despite the technical complexity and strict programme, DCR completed the project within the six-week timeframe, delivering a bespoke, fully integrated heating, hot water and water treatment system.
