St Augustine’s School North Notts, Air Source Heat Pump & Solar Design, Installation and Aftercare Project

The client wanted to  use a company that would be responsible for the mechanical design, its installation and could provide a dedicated in-house aftercare service including annual servicing.

Our final system must provide as low as possible operating costs and provided long term reliability. The system had to be easily controlled and is to be maintained over many years with sensible costs.

Challenges

• 6-week period from initial design to potential site mobilisation

• 5-week delivery program.

• Obtain planning consent and noise evaluation impact.

• Obtain DNO approval.

• Organise and work alongside the national grid to obtain a new electrical supply.

Solutions

• Ground works completed by our building services team and installation of the new electrical supply. This supply was calculated by our in-house design team and installed by our electricians.

• Our Solar PV systems are designed alongside our mechanical team. This provides our clients with estimated generation yields and energy cost offsetting.
