8 Years of Solar and now a Heat Pump Installation: How we Helped our Customer Access the £7500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme

Eight years ago, we installed a solar PV system for a local customer who was ready to take the first step toward a more sustainable lifestyle. Since then, we've been proud to provide ongoing support by servicing and maintaining their gas boiler—helping them keep their home running smoothly through the seasons.

This week we’ve replaced their gas boiler with a high-efficiency air source heat pump, including a full set of internal upgrades and alterations tailored to their property’s needs.

This transition from gas to a renewable heating solution not only reduces their carbon footprint but also offers long-term savings on energy bills. To make this change even more affordable, we applied for the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant on their behalf. The grant was accepted and deducted from the quoted cost—making low-carbon heating more accessible than ever.
