Q) Are heat pumps available for commercial properties and are they as efficient?
A)Yes, we do design and install heat pumps into commercial applications. Greater considerations need to be taken into items that may reduce efficiency and size of pipework. DCR’s design team can aid the client on different options we have available. Heat Pumps still provide the benefits for the commercial client as they do the residential home owner, but they will need planning permission. DCR can provide necessary planning applications within our design role. These installations along with the integration of Solar PV will greatly aid the reduction of the buildings carbon footprint and further improve its energy performance rating.
