Client Request: New oil tank to obtain correct distances and service of 30 year old boiler.
Due to space around the building and the close proximity’s to boundaries for an oil tank along with the age of the existing oil boiler, DCR provided a design evaluation service against operating the nursery on oil.
The advantages of not needing oil storage, improved hot water, improved reliability and a reduction in running costs an air source heat pump was recommended. This did require new fan driven radiators to provide an improved SCOP and part system upgrade.
